# TippBlitz > Free German football prediction game ("Tippspiel") for friends, groups, communities and publisher portals. TippBlitz is a free, sponsor-supported German web app and progressive web app (PWA) for predicting football match results. Users can create a free account, submit predictions before kickoff, join private groups, challenge friends, earn points based on prediction accuracy and compete in global, group and portal-level leaderboards. The platform focuses on social sports entertainment. TippBlitz does not offer real-money betting, paid gambling or financial stakes. Giveaways may be offered separately and are subject to their own terms and conditions. TippBlitz is operated in Germany by a FUNKE media company. The platform is designed for GDPR-compliant account handling, consent management, double opt-in processes and user data rights. Trademark-neutral competition names are used throughout the product where required, such as "1. Liga", "2. Liga", "3. No subscription, no paid tier, no entry fee, no money stakes and no payouts. - Scoring: 4 points for the exact result, 3 points for the correct goal difference, 2 points for the correct tendency (home win, draw, away win), 0 points for a wrong prediction. - Knockout rounds: predictions always refer to the score after 90 minutes; one additional bonus point is awarded for correctly predicting which team advances. - Deadline: a prediction can be entered or changed until kickoff of that match. After kickoff it is locked and visible to the other members of the group. - Groups: predictions are played in "Tipprunden" — private or public groups with a shared ranking, joined via an invitation link. There is no limit on the number of members. - Competitions: 1. Liga, 2. Liga, 3.
